Jerry and Mary Taylor began their business over twenty eight years ago by re-caning chair seats in order to reclaim antiques handed down, both in their own family, and for other people.
Through the progression of time and experience, the transition to miniatures brought Jerry to a craft that is satisfying and exciting. His love of hard woods is evident in the rich walnut, glowing cherry and sturdy oak which he uses exclusively to produce the miniature furniture so enjoyed by young and old.
Jerry, grew up in Louisville, Kentucky.
Here he had a close relationship with his grandfather, a master craftsman of furniture and musical instruments. This early exposure to woodworking has influenced him throughout his life
Mary, grew up in Benton, Kentucky.
She was taught at an early age to make clothes and dolls. The experience and knowledge gained then made it easy to transfer that knowledge to her present love of making teddy bears.
